Residents of the San Gabriel Valley, particularly in Pasadena, are about to experience a significant improvement in their access to high-quality healthcare services.
The construction of a new, state-of-the-art medical office building by Keck Medicine of USC on the southwest corner of Fair Oaks Avenue has led to concerns about traffic congestion in the area. However, officials assure that the wait is almost over, as the building is expected to open its doors in the fall.
Located at 590 S. Fair Oaks Ave., the four-story, 100,000 square-foot building is the latest addition to the Keck Medicine academic health system. Its primary goal is to expand Keck Medicine’s clinical care services to the residents of Pasadena and neighboring communities in the San Gabriel Valley.
According to Rod Hanners, CEO of Keck Medicine, the new location will offer a more comprehensive range of clinical care services, including research-based treatments and cures. The building is designed to provide a natural and peaceful environment, with an airy atmosphere and nice views of the San Gabriel Mountains.
