“If your product isn’t doing what it used to do, it could be expired,” says Gohara. “Maybe you’re getting acne breakouts or your skin feels tight or dry after use.”

Every night and morning, I wash my face with a homemade face wash. It’s a mixture of coconut oil, honey, castile soap and lavender essential oil.

I love washing my face this way because it not only leaves my skin feeling clean and soft, but the lavender oil helps calm me down before bed. My skin has never felt better.
